Our Story

Why Orvia?

The name Orvia started with a simple idea: a route.

When we move across a map, what matters isn't just where we are. It's everything between where we start and where we're going: the streets, the cities, the places, and the data that helps us understand them.

We wanted a name that could capture that idea in a simple, independent way.

Origin+Via=Orvia
Orvia was born from the ideas of Origin and Via: where you start, and the path you take.

But Orvia was never meant to be just another map.

The idea was to build location infrastructure for Iran from a developer's perspective. A platform where you can bring maps, search, geocoding, and routing into your products without dealing with unnecessary complexity.

We started with geographic data, processed it, and gradually turned it into something bigger:

One API for building products that understand location.

Orvia is built so that maps aren't just something you see on a screen.

They become part of the infrastructure behind the products you build.
